i was invited to shoot photos as this japanese restaurant for their menu. I really enjoyed doing it even though I'm no professional. It was fun pretending to be one and trying out all the food.

I enjoyed reading at this italian deli while waiting for a friend. The barista was really sweet and gave me a small cookie to go with my coffee.

i took my college girls here for dessert. I recommend:

apple tart drizzled with caramel and vanilla gelato & warm chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream.

We all had a chance to try out this restaurant that specializes in cured meats. It was classy, warm, and they served great food. Had a great time with these new friends :)

downtown ARTWALK LA

I didn't expect to be going here tonight but I loved it! Downtown LA became so alive. I've never seen so many people walking the streets and dancing to music outside. Dj's in front of different galleries and art shows filling up every street... I didn't think I'd actually people watch down here.

I had the most beautiful afternoon. Dan wanted shoot photos at the getty center so i followed along. I haven't been to this site in years so I missed it. Taking a coffee break by the glass wall to see the sunset was worthwhile.

I visited the museum to sketch some models like this one :)

and then i saw this beautiful tree :)

complicated coffee

so i asked the barista, "what is your most complicated coffee drink?"

After their puzzled looks, I proceeded to ask, "out of all these drinks, what is the least popular drink?"

Then with their incredulous looks and a good share of laughs, they gave me the swiss nut latte.

It was a mix of condensed milk, nutmeg, and other complicated ingredients.
