my contacts were killing my eyes so i ended up removing them and teaching blind the whole day.

Jae took us to borough after the 4 of us watched this korean film for the tribeca film festival. I always end up watching korean films for this festival...We got chocolate souffle on the house and it was one of the best i've tasted :)

I was feeling sick so I got some udon with su for dinner.

I sat on a rock on started sketching at central park this afternoon. It was so relaxing. :)

Tonight, we walked to the boat basin cafe on the hudson river to dine there. It was such a lovely evening watching the sunset while waiting for a table. I loved that place. It didn't feel like we were in the city at all.

Yay I love receiving mail. My friend compiled a cd of all these artists to listen to. travis, radiohead, hot hot heat, the killers, spoon, david gray, alicia keys, chris brown, sara bareilles, the doves, etc... Thank yoU!

makeover for miss helen

we went to sephora to pick up some spray and I wanted to learn how to apply makeup.
I made helen become the model and watched as the artist applied away. She looked like a princess!

broke my lamp

My lamp stand popped and i had a mini black out in my room. Thankfully, my friend told me to look for a light box or a controller and turn the light switches back on. But in the end my lamp broke.

black day

Celebrating black day for koreans. eating jajangmyun with all the singles, interesting day. I stayed after work and met up with some friends in flushing. First time gettin off the train in flushing, i was greeted by the smell of asia (fried noodles, seafood, and trash)
I was dazed by all the chinese characters.


and I was given a lift home, on the way we saw the brooklyn bridge near downtown.

I went to my old church friend's apt for some gourmet hamburgers. It was even better than the 9 dollar burgers i've tasted in ny.

I met with sam and helen for some coffee and brunch this morning and went down to brooklyn museum to see the murakami exhibit. It was such a beautiful warm day. I found these cherry blossom trees!
