last day in the city

It was my last day of school before the break and helen's last day of school so we celebrated by going to boqueria for some paella and churros y chocolate! Look at her expression!

my walk to school

on my walk to school from the train station, I saw this beautiful reflection of the trees in the puddle of rain water from the night before. It was a nice walk.

Brian and I checked out this italian restaurant on the upper west side. It was small and the food was tasty :) I had veal ravioli with sundried tomatoes and mushrooms.

it was my last day with the kids at my sunday job. This is one work that we showed in the exhibit for the kids. A model of a capsule that can make pizza. i know what you're thinking...but gosh what an imagination.

helen and I walked through central park in search of changing leaves. We were there just in time. The leaves were falling as we were walking through them. It was a beautiful day there.

I went to this Tapas Bar/Restaurant for some sangria and good food after a long week of work. I love the way this restaurant is set up into a downstairs and upstairs. It feels like you're in a different country

I got to see kenoakband play a set at columbia, i still can't get over how this guy sings while he plays the cello. It was nice

moma to chili peppers

Helen and I visited the Moma and we saw this sculpture piece. I liked it a lot because it gave me some inspiration for my project with the kids at my sva program.
Then i met up with tishia, peggy, brian, and des for some indian food. we went to this restaurant that had chili peppers hanging everywhere.

leaves are falling away

I'm always looking for colored leaves as i walk to school from the train station. The weather has been really chilly but nice and crisp in the mornings.
